Kate to Speak at UC Berkeley

Sep 5, 2017

Kate will be speaking at Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design next Monday, September 11th. She will be discussing current SCAPE projects and the role of landscape architecture in addressing the uncertainties of climate change. SCAPE’s last presence in Berkeley was in 2013, when photographs from Petrochemical America (created by Kate and photographer Richard Misrach) were exhibited in the David Brower Center. The book, which draws attention to the environmental destruction caused by industrial landscapes, continues to be pertinent in today’s discussions of the American landscape.
