Elena Brescia elected President of FAFNY

The Fine Arts Federation is a century-old collaboration of the Arts Societies of New York, recognized by the City's Charter. Its mandate is to ensure united action by the Arts Societies of the City in all matters affecting their common interests, to foster and protect the artistic interests of the community, and to present to the Mayor nominees for service on the Public Design Commission and the Landmarks Preservation Commission. At the Annual Meeting, held last night (Nov. 17) at the National Arts Club on Gramercy Park, Elena Brescia was elected to serve as the President of the Fine Arts Federation for the coming year.
