Helen Kongsgaard is trained as an artist and writer. She has also studied landscape (Harvard GSD) and cities (University of Chicago), where she evolved the questions of sustainability and urbanism that she has developed in practice. Her experience includes a range of project types from 'cultural planning' to live events to built works of landscape at a diversity of scales. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in the history of mathematics/science and philosophy from St. John’s College, assets to her role in research, communications, advocacy and business development.
