Pratt Residence Hall

Invited Design Competition

This new residence hall for Pratt University graduate students is located several blocks from the main campus, and so the landscape provides a crucial connecting element between the two areas. The design maintains the quintessential quadrangle feeling of the main campus, but subtly manipulates the grades to produce raised and sunken spaces for gathering and sculpture display. This project was a competition entry with Marble Fairbanks Architects.
