Michy is a Registered Landscape Architect and Senior Associate at SCAPE. Her multi-disciplinary background in landscape architecture, environmental studies and public service informs her passion for designing ecological systems that advance restoration and stewardship of landscapes within the urban fabric. Michy is currently project managing the Framework Plan for a 12-acre park in Larchmont, NY; the Masterplan for the Gowanus Canal Waterfront; and the landscape design for a new public library branch in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Prior to joining SCAPE, Michy played a key role in the Design and Construction office at the Prospect Park Alliance and worked on a wide range of capital projects within Prospect Park from design and documentation through construction administration. Her projects there included the planting design and supervision of landscape installation at the nationally recognized LeFrak Center at Lakeside.
Michy holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Emory University.
