Sophie is a Designer at SCAPE. While at SCAPE, Sophie has worked on the Resilient By Design: Bay Area Challenge, contributing to the design of Alameda Creek as well as playing a key role in community engagement, and is currently a designer on the Chattahoochee River Greenway Study
Prior to joining SCAPE, Sophie’s senior thesis project on the social dynamics of infrastructure launched her into her work as an advocate for environmental justice. Her collaborations with fenceline communities was exhibited alongside SCAPE’s Petrochemical America in the Ohio River Valley. Sophie earned a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
