The Architect’s Newspaper (AN)’s inaugural Best of Design Awards feature 26 exciting design categories, selecting projects based on innovation, creative use of new technology, sustainability, and strength of presentation. SCAPE’s Town Branch Water Walk received an Honorable Mention in the Temporary Installation category.
The Town Branch Water Walk project is a public engagement and communication tool for the residents of Lexington, Kentucky. The walk gives a broad understanding of the biophysical area around the city, reveals the invisible waters that run beneath the city, and demonstrates some of the impacts each resident of Lexington can have on the river and its water quality.
