SCAPE to lead Chattahoochee Greenway Study

Oct 4, 2018

SCAPE is thrilled to announce that we have been selected to lead an 18-month long study for a new vision for the Chattahoochee River in the Atlanta metro region. The Chattahoochee Greenway Study will focus on a 100-mile stretch of the river, from Buford Dam on the north to Chattahoochee Bend State Park in Coweta County on the south. The study will outline new investments needed to increase public access including bicycle and pedestrian usage. SCAPE will be working closely with Gresham Smith, Biohabitats, New South Associates, Edwards-Pittman, Good Thinking Atlanta, and Dr. Na’taki Osborne Jelks and Dr. Richard Milligan to complete the study. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming site visits and project reports over the next several months. Read the full press release here.
