The New-York Historical Society‘s Hudson Rising exhibit, which features SCAPE’s Living Breakwaters, was recently highlighted in a New York Times article, “Can Art Help Save the Planet?” The article discusses several exhibitions across the nation, and the way in which they showcase responses to environmental challenges.
The Hudson Rising exhibit highlights activism over the years to save the Hudson, from the 1800’s through today. Living Breakwaters is used to exemplify projects underway today, that respond to climate change’s impacts on and around the Hudson River. You can visit the exhibit through August 4th.
