A decade ago, SCAPE's book “Toward an Urban Ecology” gave shape to our practice, outlining an expanded role for landscape architects as agents of large-scale environmental and social change—and essential voices in confronting the climate crisis.

This website evolves our storytelling. Celebrating work at all scales and stages, the website unpacks our work in three sections: Practice, Projects, and Impact. Scrolling vertically reveals the breadth of our work, punctuated by moments of depth with horizontal scrolls that dive into our methodology.

Our new identity draws from the elemental qualities of the landscapes we revere: sunlight, horizon lines, and the passage of time. At the heart of it all is the horizon: a feature of every landscape, shifting in color and light throughout the day, and a reminder to keep a larger vision in mind.
