Joanne Li is a Designer at SCAPE. Her work focuses on visual representations of landscape that explore dynamic ecological processes and systems. She is particularly interested in symbiotic relationships and human-nonhuman cohabitation in urban environments.
Joanne holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University, where she was awarded the Landscape Architecture Thesis Prize. She was the winner of the World Landscape Architecture International Competition and the University of Calgary Cities for All International Competition. At Harvard, she served as teaching assistant for core landscape studios as well as representation and ecology courses. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University, where she was awarded the Dean’s Research Fellowship.
