SCAPE was selected to design the landscape for Harvard University’s new Enterprise Research Campus in Allston, on a design team including Tishman Speyer, Studio Gang, Henning Larsen, and Utile.
Plans for the campus include a mix of research-focused companies, green space, residences, and a hotel and conference center. Phase one, encompassing 14 acres and nearly 900K square feet, received regulatory approval from the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) and is slated to move forward. The campus has been described as an “innovation community with a neighborhood feel,” animated by an accessible public realm.
