Town Branch Commons awarded additional 14.1 Million for implementation!
Congratulations to our colleagues and friends at the Lexington -Fayette Urban County Government on the award of a $14.1 million TIGER grant to advance the Town Branch Commons Corridor project. Town Branch Commons is a linear network of parks, streetscapes, and public spaces that connect the city of Lexington to the rural Bluegrass region. SCAPE won the Town Branch Commons design competition in 2012 and has worked with agency partners and community stakeholders to establish a vision for the public space centered around the landscape’s unique hydrology and karst geology.
