Lauren at Restore America’s Estuaries Summit in New Orleans

Join Lauren at the National Summit on Coastal and Estuarine Restoration next week in New Orleans. As part of the panel “Transforming the Edge: Measuring and Incentivizing Waterfront Resiliency”, she will discuss SCAPE’s approach to coastal projects in New York. Members from Washington Sea Grant, Waterfront Alliance, and Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will join her in a lively discussion ranging from the importance of sustainability rating systems to how the design community can participate in waterfront edge design.

The Summit is in conjunction with the 25th Biennial Meeting of the Coastal Society, bringing together the restoration and coastal management communities to explore the critical issues facing our nation’s coasts and estuaries.
