Staten Island Ferry Terminal Re-Design

Sep 17, 2018

SCAPE, in partnership with the Billion Oyster Project, and New York City Department of Transportation, Division of Ferries is re-designing the two giant fish tanks in the Staten Island Ferry Terminal waiting room. The large fish tanks are being re-purposed as educational and interactive installations that will reopen in 2019. Until then, a temporary installation of large panels of SCAPE’s Living Breakwaters project are being featured for passersby to learn more about. The temporary installations are funded by a grant from Northfield Bank Foundation.
