“Your Land,” a special edition supplement for young readers found in the most recent issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine (LAM), features SCAPE’s Blake Hobbs Play-Za. In the section “Make It:” the Play-Za is an example of a landscape that provides outdoor places for people to gather and relax in the fresh air. Highlighted features in the project include partnering with the community on the design, preserving the existing London Plain canopy, and creating playful elements through paving and wood structures.
“Your Land” is the magazine’s special supplement for young readers, produced in response to a rising interest among ASLA members to introduce the profession of landscape architecture to students.
