Kate, Gena, and Pippa Speaking Next Week

Next week, Kate, Pippa, and Gena will all be participating in speaking engagements.

Kate will be kicking off the 2017-2018 lecture series for Auburn University’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture on Monday, September 25^th with her lecture “Toward an Urban Ecology,” sharing the same name as the SCAPE publication.

Pippa will be the keynote speaker at University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s 6^th Annual Watershed Symposium on October 26^th, hosted by the University’s Watershed Faculty Consortium. The annual symposium provides students with an opportunity to engage with industry and agency professionals in watershed-related fields. Pippa’s keynote address, “Bridging Engineering + Ecology + Design,” takes place at 1:15pm.

Gena will be travelling to Stockholm to speak at the 2017 Oyster Seminar on Friday, September 29^th. The seminar is an all-day event, beginning at 10am. This year’s theme is “Human Nature” and focuses on exploring the relationship between Nature and Humanity, philosophically, anthropologically, and practically.
