Jan 6, 2022

Happy New Year to our clients, colleagues and friends. This month, we’re excited to share a number of updates to SCAPE’s leadership, operations, design and marketing teams:

First, Laura Marett joins the firm as SCAPE’s first-ever Director of Landscape Planning, bringing a wide range of experience across scales and project types over thirteen years at Sasaki as an Associate Principal and landscape architect—and a particular interest in projects driven by robust engagement and community visioning processes.

“Laura brings a wealth of knowledge around the design and planning of exemplary parks, campuses and public landscapes at all scales—both in Boston and regional markets across the U.S.,” said Alexis Landes, Managing Principal. “We’re thrilled for her to join our growing leadership team and help build out SCAPE’s landscape planning practice in 2022 and beyond.”

As newly-appointed Design Directors, Will DiBernardo and Brad Howe bring years of experience at SCAPE leading large, complex design and planning projects to fruition, coordinating among diverse client and stakeholder groups to ensure design excellence from concept to construction.

Additionally, in 2022: Linh Kim Pham and Jin Huang join SCAPE’s Senior Associate team; Will Klassen is promoted to Senior Operations Manager; Jackson Rollings is promoted to Senior Communications Manager; Rita Kwong and Ben Scott are promoted to Associate; and Jess Guinto, Maria Palomares, Sophie Riedel and Sera Tolgay are promoted to Senior Designer. After interning at SCAPE this past fall, Dylan Roth and Caroline Fitzpatrick also joined the firm as full-time Designers in the new year.
