Martin Harwood

Technical Director

Martin is a Registered Landscape Architect and Technical Director at SCAPE. He focuses on the integration of green infrastructure in the urban realm, developing high performance parks, plazas, and campus landscapes. Currently he is working on Midtown Center Plaza in Washington, DC, and design of the new Journal Square Plaza.

Before coming to SCAPE, Martin was a Senior Associate at Dirtworks where he led a multi-disciplinary team in the design of an urban waterfront park over the FDR structure in Manhattan, campus plazas at Cornell University, Stony Brook University, and SUNY Fredonia, and the campus masterplan of an international K-12 school in Europe.

Martin graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Geography minor.
